I’m traveling to Nigeria to train educators, support communities, and deliver trauma informed resources that empower neurodivergent children. This work matters deeply to me. My ancestors came from Nigeria through the transatlantic slave trade. Now I get to return with tools that uplift the next generation. I was invited by Sapphire Initiative and several partner universities to teach at a national special education conference, lead workshops, and donate the Behavior Encyclopedia to the schools we visit.
This is more than education. It is community healing. It is legacy work. It is a chance to give educators the practical, trauma informed tools they deserve. The resources we bring will support teachers who are teaching neurodivergent children without access to training that is common in the United States. I’m returning to a homeland that my family was taken from generations ago. My goal is simple. Uplift Black families globally with tools that create safe, regulated homes and classrooms.

This mission is personal. My work has always centered Black families, neurodivergent children, and communities who have been overlooked. Nigeria is part of my ancestral story and part of the global community I care deeply about. I am going to build connection. I am going to return home with purpose.
